Mark Sanchez may have a new team to play for. After being released by the Jets over the weekend, Sanchez reportedly has a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, pending a medical evaluation. Sanchez is coming off shoulder surgery.

The Syracuse Women's Basketball team fell to Kentucky 64-59 last night in the NCAA round of 32. The Orange were without leading scorer Brittney Sykes, who sat out with a knee injury, and finish the season with a 23-10 record.

North Carolina State Forward TJ Warren, the ACC Men's Basketball Player Of the Year, is reportedly headed to the NBA  Draft. Wolfpack coach Mark Gottfried says that Warren has not made a final decision yet, and plans to meet with his family this week to discuss his situation.

The SUNY Cortland Baseball and Softball teams have both postponed their scheduled contests today. The Baseball team will not travel to SUNYIT today, and have also postponed their game at the University of Rochester tomorrow due to weather. No makeup dates have been set for those contests. Meanwhile, the Softball team's doubleheader at Nazareth for today will be made up in April.

The SUNY Cortland Women's Lacrosse team will play at Nazareth at 4pm this afternoon.

Dillan Gee has been named the opening day starter for the New York Mets against Steven Strasburg and the Washington Nationals next Monday at Citi Field. Jonathan Niese, who would likely have filled that role, will start his season on the Disabled List with elbow problems.
