The Syracuse Men's Basketball team is the # 3 seed in the South Region of the 2014 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Tournament. Syracuse is 27-5 on the season, but have lost 5 of their last 7 games. The Orange will face Western Michigan on Thursday afternoon in Buffalo. The Broncos are 23-9 and champions of the Mid-American conference, and are lead by Guard David Brown, who averages 19.4 points Per Game. Game time is 2:45 Thursday Afternoon. Follow the Orange in the NCAA Tournament on Oldies 101.5 beginning with the pregame show Thursday at 2pm.

The Orange arrived in Buffalo yesterday and will take part in an open practice to fans this afternoon as well as a media session.

Congratulations to Jordan Prior, the one-time Cortland High School standout, for earning several postseason awards as a Senior on the Morrisville State Men's Basketball team. Prior was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District First Team and the All East Region team for the 2013-14 season. Prior averaged 16.8 points for the Mustangs this season. Prior shot 44.5 percent from three point range and 80 percent from the free throw line. He helped lead the Mustangs to their third straight Northeast Athletic Conference title and the program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III " Elite 8 ".

In the AHL tonight, Binghamton is at Albany.
