Former Cornell University Coach Steve Donahue and the Eagles of Boston College upset the top-ranked Syracuse 62-59 in overtime last night at the Carrier Dome. It was the first time this season that a # 1 team had been beaten in Division I Men's Basketball. CJ Fair was the top scorer for the Orange with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Syracuse is 25-1, 12-1 in the ACC and have their rematch with Duke on the road this Saturday night at 7pm. Coverage on Oldies 101.5 begins at 6:30. The # 5 Blue Devils have a makeup date at North Carolina tonight.

Former Cortland High standouts Tom Wilk and Jordan Prior led the Morrisville State Mustangs to an 83-65 win over Wells college last night. Wilk tallied 19 points and 5 rebounds and Prior added 13 points and 6 assists.

The TC3 Basketball teams swept Corning Community College last night. The Ladies won 65-54 in their season finale while the Men won 92-80 and captured the Mid State Conference regular season title and the right to host playoff action this weekend. For the Women, it was the final game for Moravia's Meghan Ideman and Dryden's Audrey-Kate Ordway, who registered 8 rebounds in the win. Ruthanne Forehand scored 11 points and dished out 4 assists against the Red Barons.

The 5th ranked SUNY Cortland Wrestling team stumbled last night, as 15th ranked Ithaca College captured 6 of 10 weight classes and beat the Red Dragons 20-13.

In the American Hockey League last night, Binghamton edged Wilkes Barre/Scranton 4-3 in overtime.
