In High School Boys Basketball last night, Ali Abel-Feretti's 26 points and 20 rebounds led Dryden to an 81-67 win over Johnson City and Fabius-Pompey lost on a buzzer-beater to Manlius-Pebble Hill 51-50.
Michael Carter-Williams tallied 24 points, but it was not enough, as the Philadelphia 76'ers lost to Golden State 123-80. Tonight, Dion Waiters and the Cleveland Cavaliers host Sacramento.
The # 2/1 Syracuse Men's Lacrosse team opened their season last night with a 19-7 win over visiting Siena. Dylan Donahue led the Orange with 8 Goals and an Assist and Kevin Rice added 8 Assists. The Orange host Albany Sunday at 4pm.
The AHL is on its All-Star Break ... and will play a similar team from Sweden tomorrow night.
