101.5 Seconds of Sports February 5th

The # 1 Syracuse Men's Basketball team is off until Sunday night when they host Clemson at 6pm. Oldies 101.5 begins the pregame at 5:30.

Last night in the ACC, # 11 Duke beat Wake Forest 83-63 and North Carolina downed Maryland 75-63. Tonight, Boston College visits # 20 Virginia, Pitt travels to Miami and Virginia Tech is at Florida State.

The SUNY Cortland Men's and Women's Basketball teams split with New Paltz last night at Corey gym. The Men won 84-56, with Kevin McMahon tallying 22 points and TJ Hefele adding 14, along with 5 assists and 4 steals. Cortland is 12-8, 7-6 in the SUNYAC and tied for 4th place with Oswego, whom they travel to play on Saturday. The Women fell 58-48 to the Hawks. Grace Williamson registered a double-double, with 19 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. The Red Dragons fall to 12-8 and 7-6 in the SUNYAC.

Former Cortland High players Tom Wilk and Jordan Prior contributed to Morrisville State's 76-70 win over SUNY Canton last night. Wilk chipped in with 9 points and 9 rebounds and  Prior added 8 points for the Mustangs.

In the AHL tonight, Syracuse is at Rochester and Binghamton hosts Portland.
