The Syracuse Orange Men's Basketball team is 17-0 and 4-0 in the ACC and will host Pitt Saturday at 4pm at the Carrier Dome. Oldies 101.5 begins coverage at 3:30 with the pregame show. The Panthers, ranked # 22 in the latest poll, beat Georgia Tech 81-74  last night.

The SUNY Cortland Men's and Women's Basketball teams both fell to Oneonta State in the first of two " Battle Of the Red Dragons " last night. The Men's saw their 5 game win streak snapped with Oneonta's 78-70 victory in overtime. Kevin McMahon tallied 24 points and 11 rebounds in the loss, Earlier in the evening, Oneonta beat the Cortland Women 72-65. Caysea Cohen and Lindsey Minor paced Cortland with 13 points apiece. Both Cortland teams are 4-2 in the SUNYAC, the Men are 9-4 overall and the Women are 8-5. The two Red Dragons will meet again next Tuesday in Oneonta. Cortland will travel to Geneseo Friday and will host Brockport Saturday. The Women's game starts at 4pm with the Men tipping off at 6pm.

The TC3 Basketball teams split at Corning Community College last night. The Men won 86-80 and are 3-0 in the Mid State Athletic Conference. The Lady Panthers lost 66-53. Ruthanne Forehand registered 15 points and 4 steals while Audrey Kate Ordway chipped in 5 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

In High School Boys Basketball last night, Dryden beat Chenango Valley 48-44. Sophomore Ali Abel-Ferretti lead the Purple Lions with 27 points and 21 rebounds. Dryden is 5-4 on the season.

The SUNY Cortland Men's Ice Hockey team had a 3-1 lead after one period, but fell to Elmira College 7-4. Casie Garrison had an assist for the Red Dragons, who host Hobart Friday night at 7pm. The Statesmen are coached by one-time Cornell Assistant Coach Mark Taylor.
