Trevor Cooney racked up 21 points to lead the # 2 Syracuse Men's Basketball team to a 69-59 win at Boston College last night. Jerami Grant scored 16 points and pulled down 8 rebounds, CJ Fair added 12 points and 6 rebounds and Tyler Ennis scored 12 and dished out 5 assists, The Orange is 17-0 and 4-0 in the ACC and will host Pitt Saturday at 4pm at the Carrier Dome. Oldies 101.5 begins coverage at 3:30 with the pregame show. The Panthers, ranked # 22 in the latest poll, are at Georgia Tech tonight.

SUNY Cortland Forward Kevin McMahon is the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Basketball Player Of the Week. McMahon registered back-to-back "double-doubles" in wins over Buffalo State and Fredonia State this past weekend, including a 35 point, 11 rebound performance against Buffalo State and reaching the 1,000 career point mark in the win over Fredonia State. McMahon also finished 1 rebound shy of another double-double in a win at New Paltz last Tuesday.

The SUNY Cortland Men's and Women's Basketball teams host Oneonta State in " the Battle of Red Dragons " tonight at Corey Gym. The Women's game starts at 6pm and the Men's Game tips off at 8pm. Also tonight at SUNY Cortland, The Men's Ice Hockey team, and hometown product Casie Garrison, hosts Elmira College at 7pm at Alumni Arena.
