The Syracuse Men's Basketball team is off until this Sunday, December 15th, when they travel to the Big Apple to take on St. Johns at Noon ... we'll have the pregame at 11:30. Syracuse is ranked # 2 in this week's Associated Press Poll and # 3 in the latest Coaches Poll.

Sunday's Basketball game will be followed by New York Jets Football.  Gang Green" is 6-7 and will travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers Sunday at 4:05pm. We'll have the pregame show on the air at 3pm.

In High School Boys Basketball last night, Cortland beat Mexico 66-50. Sage Brown led the Purple Tigers with 16 points, Zach Whalen added 13 and Qadir Artis chipped in with 10. Also last night, Dryden fell to Whitney Point 62-55. In girls Basketball, Cortland downed Mexico 48-32. Shea Swarthout scored 17 points and Shaniqua Artis tallied 10 points for the winners.

The SUNY Cortland Men's Hockey team beat Nazareth 5-1 last night in the final home contest of the semester for the Red Dragons. Nick Zappia scored twice and added an assist, A.J. Moyer added a goal and two helpers and Adam Bevalaqua and local product Casie Garrison scored for Cortland. Goalie Lyle Rocker registered 38 saves in the win.

In the AHL, the Syracuse Crunch lost  to St. Johns 6-2 last night. The two teams will square off again tonight at St. Johns. Also tonight, Binghamton hosts Hershey.
