Football on the air this weekend: On Saturday, SUNY Cortland travels to Alfred for the ECAC North Central Championship Bowl ... it's a 1pm start and our pregame show starts at 12:20. Cortland is 6-4 on the season and have won their last two regular season games. Last week the Red Dragons defeated Ithaca College to retain the Cortaca Jug for the 4th straight season. The Saxons, under former Cortland Coach Dave Murray, are 7-3 on the season and lost to St. John Fisher in Pittsford last week ... that game is called the " Courage Bowl ".

Also on Saturday, the Syracuse Football team entertains Pitt at the dome ... game time is 12:30.

Sunday, the Jets are in Baltimore to take on the Ravens at 1pm ... we'll have it starting at Noon with the pregame show.

Up next for the Syracuse Orange Men's Basketball team: they head to the Maui Invitational starting next Monday. Their first opponent is the Golden Gophers of Minnesota ... the game begins at 5:30 pm Eastern Time ... the pregame show starts at 5 on Oldies 101.5. The Orange will play Tuesday and possibly on Wednesday in Maui.

Last night, the SUNY Cortland Women's Basketball team beat SUNYIT 89-46 in a non-league contest. Brockport transfer Phoebe Byrnes led Cortland with 17 points, Erin Wolstenhome and Caysea Cohen added 14 apiece, Jeanette Harris had 10 points, Meghan Touhey added 9 points and 9 rebounds and Grace Williamson led Cortland with 11 rebounds. The Red Dragons are 2-1 on the season.

Tonight and tomorrow afternoon, the SUNY Cortland Women's Ice Hockey team hosts Potsdam in a weekend set. Tonight's game starts at 7pm and tomorrows' contest is scheduled for 2pm.

In the American Hockey League, the Syracuse Crunch take on the Hamilton Bulldogs. The game will be played at the Bell Center on Montreal, the home of the parent club Montreal Canadians. Also tonight, Binghamton is at Adirondack.
