The Football career of SUNY Cortland Defensive Back Andre Green has been cut short by, what is being called, a " congenital condition that makes playing Football unsafe ". Green has not played since the win over Kean at home on October 5th, in which he registered 14 tackles, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup, and was named the NJAC's Defensive Player Of the week. Green also excels at Track and Field, and finished 12th in the Long Jump competition at last year's NCAA Division III Championship meet. While the condition Green has ends his Football career, he will be able to continue as a Track & Field Athlete.

TC3 Men's Soccer Player Morgan Shutter is the NJCAA Player Of the Week, after tallying 3 Goals and an Assist in a win over Cayuga Community College and scoring another goal in a win over Sussex Community College to complete the first  undefeated season in Panthers history. TC3 begins their playoff run, as the Region III-B Top Seed, next week.

The Female Patriots fan that took a punch from a male Jets fan at last Sunday's game has now been been charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct in connection with the melee. Authorities say two females and a male were involved, and that the females were the aggressors.

Meanwhile, Jets Coach Rex Ryan called out Pats Coach Bill Belichick for saying that the Jets do not "push" n opposing Field Goal Attempts. The Patriots were called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in overtime against the Jets, which resulted in Nick Folk's 42 yard game-winning Field Goal.
