Jets Coach Rex Ryan is hopeful that fans will rally behind Mark Sanchez. After being boo'ed at the Green/White scrimmage, Jets Cornerback Antonio Cromarte said the Jets fans reaction to the Interception Sanchez threw was " bullcrap", and coach Ryan hinted at similar feelings. While saying that the fans could react they want, he also said that fans, coaches and players alike " need to move forward ". The Jets play Detroit in their preseason opener this Friday night, and you'll hear it on Oldies 101.5.

Alex Rodriguez went 1-4 in his return to the Yankees last night. A-Rod was hit with a suspension adding up to 211 games yesterday for his involvement in the Biogenesis scandal. All of the area Minor League Baseball teams were off yesterday.

The Syracuse Football team held it's first official practice yesterday. The Orange's season opener is August 31st against Penn State.
