The Jets welcomed their top draft pick to camp yesterday afternoon. Cornerback Dee Millner arrived yesterday afternoon and greeted the media last night. He says he's anxious to get to work and " earn (his) paycheck " now that the deal is done and he's in camp.

Former Syracuse Wide Receiver Marcus Sales has signed a deal with the Atlanta Falcons and is in camp. Sales joins his counterpart, Alec Lemon, in the NFL for now. Lemon is in camp with the Houston Texans.

The Lawyer for Alex Rodriguez says his client will fight any disciplinary action by Major League Baseball through the appeals process. The announcement of those in trouble due to the Biogenesis investigation may come out this week. Even if A-Rod launches an appeal of a suspension related to the investigation, Major League Baseball could still keep him off the field for what is being termed " other violations ".

In Minor League Baseball, Syracuse edged Indianapolis 9-8, Binghamton beat Trenton 6-1 and Jamestown downed Auburn 8-4.

If Section III executive John Rathbun has his way, new language will be inserted into the NYSPHSAA Code Of Conduct which prohibits trash-talk, both verbally and in social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter. Players must sign the Code Of Conduct prior to participating in any state level playoff games.
