The New York Jets continue their stay in Cortland with an open practice today. Yesterday's session was halted after 25 minutes because of the sever weather yesterday morning. The team had a walk-through indoors then continued it's practice on the stadium turf late yesterday afternoon.

The Jets top draft Pick, Cornerback Dee Milner, has signed a 4 year, 12.66 million dollar deal and is expected at camp soon. A change of agents midway through negotiations was partially to blame for the delay.

One time Syracuse and Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Donovan McNabb will retire from the NFL officially today as an Eagle at their training camp.

The Baseball Hall Of Fame inducted James White, Jacob Ruppert and Hank O'Day posthumously at ceremonies yesterday in Cooperstown. Dr. Frank Jobe was also honored at the event. Dr. Jobe pioneered what's now known as " Tommy John Surgery " on the arms of pitchers which can save their careers.

Alex Rodriguez may be facing a suspension for the rest of this season and all of the next season. The report in the New York Post says the suspension could be announced sometime this week.

In Minor League Baseball, Syracuse beat Indianapolis 2-1, Auburn downed Jamestown 5-2 and Binghamton and Trenton split a doubleheader, with Trenton winning the first game 4-1 and the B-Mets taking the second 4-1.
