Syracuse University Guard Jerami Grant has left the U-19 team USA squad. Grant has Mononucleosis and can't play in the tournament in Prague.

The Orange have added Offensive Tackle James McGlouster to their Freshman class. The Hillside New Jersey Native will be a redshirt this year.

In Minor League Baseball yesterday: The Chiefs were shut out by the Scranton/Wilkes Barre Yankees 5-0 and Mahoning Valley beat Auburn 4-1. Last night's game between Binghamton and Portland was suspended after two innings due to storms in Portland. The teams will complete that game and play a regularly scheduled game today.

Yankees 3rd Basemen Alex Rodriguez took to Twitter yesterday to announce that he was cleared to play in rehab games ... but Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman was not pleased. At a press conference yesterday, Cashman stated the Yankees team doctors will announce when A-Rod is cleared to play again, and added that A-Rod should " Shut ... Up".
