Sophomore Quinn Kennedy took a no-hitter into the 6th inning and the Purple Tigers scored twice in the Top of the 6th inning en route to a 4-1 over defending champion New Hartford 4-1 yesterday at DeLutis Field in Rome. The Purple Tigers are 17-4 on the season and await their regional assignment next after claiming the Section III, Class "AZ" title.

The Fabius-Pompey Softball team fell to Weedsport 3-2 in 10 innings in the Section III, Class "C-2" Semifinals yesterday. Weedsport's Abby Marsen went the distance in the circle and cracked a game-winning 2 run homer in the 10th.

The Syracuse Men's Lacrosse team went just 9-30 on faceoffs yesterday and fell to Duke 16-10 in the NCAA Men's Lacrosse championship game in Philadelphia.
