Mike Cummings and Benjamin Dunleavy each scored twice as the SUNY Cortland Red Dragons outscored Western New England 7-2 in the second half and defeated the Golden Bears 12-7 in the NCAA Quarterfinals. The Red Dragons have a rematch with R.I.T. up next. The Tigers beat Tufts 14-5 yesterday to advance. The game is scheduled for 1pm Sunday at the Stadium Complex. The Red Dragons edged the Tigers 12-1 in double-overtime in the regular season meeting.

Donny Castaldo's line drive sacrifice fly in the Bottom of the 7th capped a come-from-behind win for the SUNY Cortland Baseball team last night, 4-3 over the R.P.I. Engineers. Cortland will take on Amherst tonight at 7:45. The Jeffs upset Rowan 10-8 yesterday.

Sectional play in High School Boys Lacrosse begins tonight ... Cortland will host Jordan-Elbridge, Homer is home to Watertown I.H.C. and Tully visits CBA.

In High School scores from yesterday: In Baseball: Cincinnatus beat Madison 19-8 and Fabius-Pompey downed Tully 4-2. In Softball: Madison beat Cincinnatus 12-3, Fabius-Pompey outlasted Tully 10-6 and Onondaga knocked off Lafayette 8-4. In Boys Tennis: Cortland edged Homer 4-3 and Lafayette beat Onondaga 4-1.
