In softball, the Cortland Red Dragons advanced to the winner's bracket final of the NCAA Div. III Regionals with a 10-2 victory over Western Connecticut State. The game was called after six innings due to the eight-run rule.The fourth-seeded Red Dragons will face third-seeded Lebanon Valley today at 2pm as they continue play in the eight-team, double-elimination tournament.

TC3's softball season came to an end yesterday in the Region III-A championship, losing the best-of-three series to Herkimer Community College two games to none. The Panthers lost by scores of 8-0 and 13-3 to finish the years as the Region III-A runners up.

In Mens golf, TC3 took fifth place at the Monroe Invitational yesterday. The host team won the tournament with a score of 314. TC3 finished at 349, fifth out of 11 teams.

In baseball, Homer High over CBA 10-4, Dryden wins big over Whitney Point shutting them out 17-0.

In boys lax today, Homer High plays Lafayette at 11am.

NHL Stanley Cup Playoff action from last night Toronto over Boston 2-1, Washington 2-1 over the Rangers, Detroit over Anaheim after OT 4-3, and LA over St. Louis 2-1.

In AHL, the Syracuse Crunch skated 5-2 victory over Springfield in game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinal.

NBA play action, Miami over Chicago 104-94, Miami leads the series 2-1, San Antonio over Golden State 102-92, San Antonio leads the series 2-1 as well. Oklahoma City and Memphis meet this afternoon at 5pm and the Knicks take on Indiana at 8pm.

MLB action, Yankees over Kansas City 11-6, Mets falls to Pittsburgh 7-3 and Boston blank Toronto 5-0.
