Seventeen members of the SUNY Cortland Women's Lacrosse team made the score sheet, 15 in the goal-scoring column, as the Red Dragons blew by Keuka College 23-2 yesterday. Erica Geremia led Cortland with a goal and seven assists and Tara Monaghan scored 4 times. The Red Dragons will host a four-team regional this weekend.

The SUNY Cortland Men's Lacrosse team now knows their opponent for Saturday's NCAA Second Round game at the Stadium Complex. Aurora (Ill.) beat Ohio Wesleyan 13-9 last night in their first-ever NCAA game to advance to the next round. The Spartans are led by Coach Kylor Berkman, who is the son of Salisbury Head Coach Jim Berkman. As a player, the younger Berkman helped the Seagulls to two victories against the Red Dragons ... in the 2007 and 2008 National Championship games.

Times and other details on the four games this weekend will be announced later today.

The SUNY Cortland Softball team begins their NCAA run today at Ithaca College. The Red Dragons take on the Lions of TCNJ today at noon in regional play. TCNJ is one of four New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) teams to make the field this season.

Syracuse and Indiana Men's Basketball fans will get another chance to see their teams battle on the hardwood. The Orange and Hoosiers will meet as part of the " A.C.C. / Big 10 Challenge " next season. The Orange won the NCAA " Sweet 16 " meeting between the two schools back in March.

Checking High School results from Wednesday: In Girls Lacrosse, it was Jamesville-Dewitt over Homer 17-13. In Baseball, Cortland edged Bishop Ludden 4-3 and Trumansburg got by Dryden 7-6. The Track and Field, The Homer Boys and Girls swept Christian Brothers Academy in a duel meet.
