NBA playoff action from last night, the Knicks roll over Boston 90-76. New York leads the series 3-0, San Antonio wins big over the Lakers 120-89. San Antonio leads that series 3-0. Golden State over Denver 110-108. Golden State leads the series at 2-1. Today Chicago takes on Brooklyn at 2pm, the Clippers take on Memphis at 4pm, Indiana takes on Atlanta at 7pm and Oklahoma City takes on Houston at 9:30pm.

NHL action from last night, Buffalo over the Islanders 2-1 after a shootout, Edmonton over Minnesota 6-1, Chicago over Calgary 3-1 and Colorado over Phoenix 5-3 after a shootout.

On to MLB action, more injuries for the Yankees, Francisco Cervelli has broken his hand, he will be out for 6 weeks, as his hand requires surgery. Ivan Nova also left the game with elbow soreness. The Yankees did beat the Blue Jays though 6-4, Boston over Houston 7-3, and the Mets fall to Philly 4-0.

In college baseball, Cortland State over Fredonia 14-3. Cortland does complete their SUNYAC regular-season schedule today with a doubleheader at Fredonia at Noon.

In college softball, Cortland State gets swept by Brockport 5-4 and 10-7 in a doubleheader yesterday. With the wins Brockport clinched the SUNYAC regular-season title and the right to host next week's six-team conference tournament. Cortland drops into a three-way tie for second at 11-5, along with Plattsburgh and Geneseo.

In boys lacrosse, Lafayette over Cazenovia 12-11, Cortland High plays Chittenango this morning at 10am, Homer takes on Carthage at Noon, and Tully plays Fulton at 2pm.

In girls lacrosse, Tully over Westhill 16-11, Homer over New Hartford 16-8, Lafayette falls to Skaneateles 11-4 and Cortland High plays ESM at Noon.

In high school baseball, Dryden over Moravia 8-5 as they go to 5-2 in IAC play after a come from behind win and Cortland High fell to Ithaca 7-4.

In boys tennis, Cortland had two matches, they won the first one against Syracuse West 6-0, they lost the second one against Liverpool 6-0.
