Syracuse Forward C.J. Fair says he flipped-flopped 5 times but finally came to the decision to stay at Syracuse for another year, rather than make himself eligible for the NBA draft. The announcement came from the university yesterday. Fair was projected by some as a late first round pick.

The SUNY Cortland Men's Lacrosse team got at least one goal from 10 different plays en route to a 15-5 win over Oswego yesterday afternoon. The Red Dragons clinch the SUNYAC regular season title with the win and will look for their sixth straight tournament title starting next Wednesday in the semi-finals. Cortland will finish out the regular season with Potsdam on Saturday.

The SUNY Cortland Baseball team pounded out 16 hits and scored 10 runs in the 4th inning in a 15-1 win over Caazenovia College yesterday. The Red Dragons are 28-8 and have won 10 straight games.

In High School Sports Wednesday, Girls Lacrosse: Homer beat Central Square 15-7, Skaneateles downed Tully 19-12 and Lafayette rolled by Chittenango 22-6. In Baseball it was Marathon over Trumansburg 4-1. In Softball Marathon and T-Burg split a doubleheader: Marathon won the first gamer6-4 and Trumansburg took the second game 6-1. In Boys Tennis it was Homer over Layfayette 4-1.
