This rain is effecting some sports for today.

Cortland State's home baseball game vs. SUNY Old Westbury yesterday (April 12) was rained out. That game will not be made up. So the Red Dragons have added a road game at La Roche College in Pittsburgh, PA. today at 2pm.

And a schedule change for Cortland State's softball doubleheader at Plattsburgh today, it's been postponed due to the weather. So the teams will play in Plattsburgh on Monday (April 15) at 1pm. In addition, the start time for tomorrows doubleheader at Potsdam has been changed to 2pm.

Todays TC3 baseball home game against the Ithaca College JV team has been canceled . The Panthers hope to get on the field tomorrow (April 14th) for a home doubleheader against Monroe Community College. And TC3 softball was also canceled for today due to poor field conditions, they were to play Monroe Community College.

The Tompkins Cortland Community College golf team opened the 2013 season yesterday (April 12th) at the Mohawk Valley Invitational at the Oneida Community Golf Club. The Panthers carded a team score of 346, good for sixth out of 11 teams.

In boys lacrosse, Homer over ESM 18-6 and Tully falls to Skaneateles 12-8. In girls lacrosse today Cortland High takes on JD at 3pm and Tully plays LaFayette at 5:15pm.

NBA Action last night, the NY Knicks over Cleveland 101-91 and Brooklyn over Indiana 117-109. Other winners from last night, Toronto, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Miami, Detroit, Clippers, Memphis, Dallas, San Antonio, Utah, Oklahoma City, and the Lakers.

NHL action from last night, Ottawa, Columbus, Dallas, and Chicago all winners.

In MLB action last night, the Yankees over Baltimore, Mets over Minnesota and Tampa Bay vs. Boston was postponed.

And in the Masters from Augusta National, Jason Day sits atop the leader board through round 2 with a -6. Fred Couples and Marc Leishman are tied at 2nd with a -5. Other notables, Roy McIlroy's is tied for 14th with -2, Tiger Woods is tied for 7th with a -3 and that 14 year old from China has made the cut, Tianlang Guan is at +4.
