After earning MVP honors in the Big East tournament and helping the Syracuse Men's Basketball team reach the Final Four this past season, Guard Michael Carter-Williams has decided to pass on his final two years of eligibility and head to the NBA. Carter-Williams issued a statement yesterday, saying the he will " always be a proud member of the Syracuse Basketball Program ".

The Syracuse Men's Lacrosse team survived defensive difficulties early and rallied to beat rival Cornell 13-12 at the Carrier Dome last night, with a Cornell shot ringing off the crossbar with less than 30 seconds left. It was the First win since 2010 over Cornell for the Orange.

The SUNY Cortland Baseball team beat the University of Rochester on the road 11-3 yesterday. The scheduled Softball doubleheader between the two schools was postponed due to weather.

The TC3 Men's Lacrosse team fell to Mohawk Valley C.C. 12-5 yesterday. Mike Hartnett registered 3 goals and two assists and Austin Recor scored twice for the Panthers.
