The SUNY Cortland Baseball and Softball teams will both take on Ithaca College in makeup games this afternoon ... Baseball is a single game starting at 3:30 while Softball plays two starting at 3pm.

In High School sports yesterday: Boys Lax: Lafayette beat Kinnelon 11-6. Girls Lax: Mexico topped Homer 8-4, Tully downed Onondaga 11-8 and Lafayette beat Bishop Ludden/Bishop Grimes 19-7. Baseball: Marathon over Moravia 11-8. Softball: Marathon downed Moravia 10-2. Track and Field: The Marathon Boys and Girls beat Southern Cayuga but lost to Trumansburg in Tri-Meet. The Blue Raiders beat both schools to win the meet.

Louisville beat Michigan 82-76 and is the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Champion. Head Coach Rick Pitino is now the first coach to win titles at two different schools ... he won one with Kentucky in 1996 as the Wildcasts beat Syracuse in the Final. Tonight the Lady Cardinals try for a sweep as they take on Brianna Stewart and the  U-Conn Lady Huskies in New Orleans.
