The Syracuse Orange Men's Basketball team is in the NCAA Final Four for the first time since they won it all in 2003. The Orange will take on Michigan in the 8:49 tip off tonight in Atlanta. Orange Pregame begins at 8pm.

Not a whole lot happening in high school sports yesterday. The Homer boys lacrosse team fell to Skaneateles 10-11.

In softball, the Cortland Red Dragons defeated Fredonia, 8-7, in the opening game of a SUNYAC doubleheader. Fredonia held off a Red Dragon rally to win the second game, 5-4.

And in baseball Cortland State falls to Brockport as they scored three times in the top of the eighth to break a 1-1 tie and defeat nationally top-ranked Cortland, 4-1, in a SUNYAC contest.

In NBA action last night, the NY Knicks have now won 11 straight as Carmelo Anthony has his third consecutive 40 plus point game. They beat Milwaukee 101-83. Other winners from last night Cleveland, Philadelphia, Miami, Indiana, Chicago, Toronto, Utah, Golden State, Dallas, Houston and the Lakers.

In MLB action, in the American League, the Yankees fall to Detroit 3-8, the Red Sox over Toronto 6-4. In National League the Mets fall to Miami 7-5.

And in NHL action last night, the Rangers fall to Pittsburgh after a shootout 2-1. Buffalo over Ottawa 4-2. Other winners St. Louis, Detroit, Dallas and San Jose.
