The Syracuse Orange Men's Basketball team is in the NCAA Final Four for the first time since they won it all in 2003. The Orange will take on Michigan in the 8:49 tilt Saturday in Atlanta. The Wolverines beat Florida 79-59 yesterday and will make their first Final Four Appearance since the days of " the Fab Four " in 1993. Michigan is coached by one-time Lemoyne boss John Beilein. Orange Pregame begins at 8pm Saturday night on Oldies 101.5. .

Two Former SU players are in the news today ... Carmelo Anthony ties his NBA career high of 50 points the Knicks 102-90 win over the Miami Heat, who were without Lebron, Dwayne Wade and Mario Chalmers. Meanwhile, recently departed Kris Joseph has signed a 10 day contract with the Brooklyn Nets and will be in uniform tonight at Cleveland.

SU Quarterback Ryan Nassib will work out of several NFL teams this week in Syracuse .... one of which is the Buffalo Bills. ... and his former coach, Doug Marrone.

The SUNY Cortland Baseball a,d Softball teams have postponed their contests again today due to the cold ... Baseball was to play Oswego in a single game and Softball was schedule for two against Ithaca College. The Baseball team will try to get it in tomorrow and the softball team will play on 4/9. Meanwhile, the Women's Lacrosse team got an eight point performance from Erica Geremia (5 goals and 3 assists) in a win over Oneonta State 20-7 yesterday.
