The Syracuse Orange Men's Basketball team is in the NCAA Final Four for the first time since they won it all in 2003. The Orange will take on Michigan in the 8:49 tilt Saturday in Atlanta. The Wolverines beat Florida 79-59 yesterday and will make their first Final Four Appearance since the days of " the Fab Four " in 1993. Michigan is coached by one-time Lemoyne boss John Beilein. Orange Pregame begins at 8pm Saturday night on Oldies 101.5. The Orange leave for Atlanta today.

One distraction that the Orange won't have in Atlanta will likely be the status of Assistant Coach Mike Hopkins, who had interviewed for the job at USC ... that job went to Florida Golf Coast Coach Andy Enfield. The announcement was made late last night.

The SUNY Cortland Baseball and Softball teams have postponed their contests today due to the cold ... Baseball was to play Oswego in a single game and Softball was schedule for two against Ithaca College. Both teams will try to get them in tomorrow. Meanwhile, the Women's Lacrosse team has a game with " The Other Red Dragons " of Oneonta State today at 4pm at the stadium complex.

The TC3 Men's Lacrosse team lost to Finger Lakes C.C. 19-5 yesterday,. Chad Timmons, Austin Recor, Stephan Park, Mike Hartnett, and Lon Palmer each scored a goal for the Panthers while Zach Brown made 25 saves.
