The Orange will play Big East foe Marquette in the round of 8 today at 4:30.We got this game starting with the Orange pregame at 4. in the other NCAA Tourney games last night Michigan comes back to beat Kansas in overtime 87-85. Florida Gulf Coast is unable to get past Miami falling 62-50, Duke over Michigan State 71-61 and number 1 Louisville survives over Oregon 77-69. Tonights other game is Ohio St. and Wichita St. Tip at 7:05.

In womens softball yesterday, the Cortland State Red Dragons set a single game home run record with 5, 4 of which were hit consecutively also a school record as they beat Oswego 8-0 in the second game of their doubleheader. Cortland did lose the opener 4-2.

In mens baseball action yesterday, the Red Dragons faced the SUNY Institute of Technology in their home opener beating them 7-3.

In NBA action last night the Knicks over Charlotte 111-102 as J.R. Smith scores 37 points. Brooklyn falls to Denver 109-87. Other winners last night include Orlando, Boston, Toronto, Philadelphia, Memphis, Miami, Minnesota, San Antonio and Utah.

NHL action from last night, Tampa Bay, Anaheim, Dallas, and Columbus all won last night.

In preseason pro baseball action, Yankees over Washington 4-2, the Mets over St. Louis, Minnesota over Boston. Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers is going to be getting paid a lot of money. ESPN is reporting the new contract could exceed $202 million dollars.
