The 9th ranked Syracuse Orange used 18 points and 10 rebounds from C.J. Fair and beat Notre Dame 63-47 at the Dome last night to stop a mini 2 game slide. The SUNY Cortland Basketball teams host " The Other Red Dragons " of Oneonta State tonight at Corey Gym. The Ladies are tied for fourth place in the SUNYAC with Buffalo State, whom they just beat on Saturday, and ... you guessed it ... the visiting Red Dragons. That game tips at 6pm. The Men take to the court at about 8pm, trying to build on a 1.5 game lead over Geneseo in the SUNYAC. Cortland Senior Guard Jesse Winter needs 12 points to become the program's all-time leading scorer ... the current total of 1,419 points for a career was set by Jason Thomas from 1992-95.
The McGraw High School Boys Basketball team is Ranked 15th in the latest Class D state rankings.
