The Syracuse Men's Basketball team are headed to Pittsburgh for a date with the Panthers ... as they look to rebound from their first Big East loss of the season ... the game starts at Noon tomorrow, with Orange pregame at 11:30am.

James Southerland may learn next week if he can return to his team. A hearing on his eligibility status will take place sometime next week ... and will be conducted by a panel at the university ... and not the NCAA.

Surgery on Dajuan Coleman's injured left knee reportedly went well. Coleman is expected to miss 4 weeks, but hopes to be back sooner, according to reports.

The SUNY Cortland Men's and Women's Basketball teams head west this weekend, with stops at Fredonia State tonight and Buffalo State tomorrow afternoon. The Men look to expand their "percentage points" lead for the top spot in the SUNYAC while the Women continue to battle for a playoff spot.

Also tonight, The SUNY Cortland Women's Hockey team entertains Buffalo State at 7pm. The Red Dragons could clinch a home playoff game with Four wins in their last five games. The teams will meet again tomorrow afternoon at 2pm.

Checking High School Sports from yesterday: In Boys Basketball: Otselic Valley beat George Junior 85-38. In Girls Hoops, Fabius-Pompey over Lafayette 47-40. In Boys Ice Hockey, Cortland-Homer beat Liverpool 7-4. In Girls Volleyball Fabius-Pompey beat Cortland 3-2 and in Boys Swimming it was Chenango Valley over Dryden.

Good look to all area High School Wrestlers with Section III and IV tournaments taking place tomorrow.

The Central New York Blue Fins game with the Danbury Whalers. Which was scheduled for tonight at 7:30 at the J.M. McDonald Sports Complex has been postponed ... no makeup date has been set yet.
