SUNY Cortland hosts three key games tonight at the Park Center: The Basketball teams host Geneseo at Corey Gym. The Men tip at 8pm ... looking for a share of first place in the SUNYAC with a win tonight while the Women try to work their way into the top 4 in the league .. that game starts at 6.
Meanwhile, the SUNY Cortland Men's Ice Hockey team hosts Oswego at 7pm at the Ice Arena ... Cortland is 2-2 since the return from Winter Break ... including a 5-0 shutout win over # 8 Utica College ... a team that the # 5 Lakers have lost to ... twice ... this season.
Checking the High School Scoreboard from last night ... Boys Hoops: Cortland over J-D 70-56 and Dryden over Southern Cayuga 83-50. In Girls Hoops, it was Cincinnatus over Stockbridge Valley 32-28, Tully over Port Byron 33-28 and Stockbridge Valley over Deruyter 30-26. in Boys Ice Hockey it was Cortland-Homer over Central Square 4-2. In Girls Volleyball Stockbridge Valley beat Deruyter, ES-M handled Fabius-Pompey abd Tully downed Manlius-Pebble Hill all by 3-0 scores. In Wrestling Fabius-Pompey won easily over the Syracuse Academy of Science.
