ESPN New York reports that the Jets have fired Offensive Coordinator Tony Sparano. According to the website, Sparano was informed of the decision last night. The Jets also let go Quarterbacks Coach Matt Cavanaugh on Sunday.

The Syracuse Men's Basketball team will travel to Providence for their next Big East matchup on Wednesday night. The game starts at 7pm with Orange Pregame at 6:30.

In High School Sports Yesterday, Girls Basketball: Fabius-Pompey defeated the Syracuse Academy of Science 68-32. In Girls Volleyball, it was Chittenango over Cortland 3-1, McGraw lost to Living Word and Cincinnatus beat Deruyter ... both by 3-0 scores. In Boys Hockey, it was Ithaca over Fayetteville-Manilus 4-3.
