The Syracuse Orange got 14 points from Dajuan Coleman and blasted Eastern Michigan 84-48 last night at the Dome ... Brandon Trische contributed 12 points and Michael Carter-Williams, Jermi Grant and Trevor Cooney each added 11. The Orange host Long Breach State Thursday night, with Coverage beginning at 7:30 with Orange Pregame and the tip-off is at 8pm.

Coming up tonight the SUNY Cortland Men's and Women's Basketball teams travel to Geneseo ... with the Men putting their 5-0 record on the line against the 3-3 Knights.

The Jets go to Jacksonville next Sunday to take on the Jaguars at 1pm .... hear it on Oldies 101.5 starting at Noon. Coach Rex Ryan has yet to name his starting Quarterback for the game ... with Mark Sanchez struggling, Tim Tebow battling a rib injury and Greg McElroy throwing for the only touchdown in last week's win over Arizona. Ryan says he should know by Wednesday's practice.

Alex Rodriguez will miss the beginning the season next year. The Yankees third baseman will have surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left hip and needs 4-6 months of recovery time.

In High School Basketball, the Tully Girls beat Homer 42-34 and the Lafayette Boys knocked off Stockbridge Valley 63-42.
