The Syracuse Men's Basketball team beatt the Colgate Raiders 87-51 yesterday afternoon at the Carrier Dome. James Southerland Led the Orange with 18 points, Brandon Trische added 15 and Michael Carter-Williams notched 8 points and a team-high 13 assists. The Orange will travel to Arkansas  for their next game Friday night at 8:30. Coverage begins at 8pm with Orange Pregame.

The Cornell Women's Basketball team fell just short at New Hampshire yesterday ... losing 59-56.

The Syracuse Men's Soccer team lost to Georgetown 4-2 on Penalty Kicks. 

In AHL action, the Syracuse Crunch beat Worcester 6-1.

In Sunday Night NFL action, the Giants return from a bye week with a vengence ... beating Green Bay 38-10. Elsewhere, the Buffalo Bills fell to Indianapolis 20-13.

The Jets host Arizona Sunday at 1pm ... coverage on Oldies 101.5 begings with the Pregame show at noon.

Tonight in the NBA, the Brooklyn Nets host the Knicks in a makeup of a game cancelled by Hurricane Sandy at the start of the season. The game is being billed as the " Battle Of The Burroughs ". The Knicks beat Detroit 121-100 behing Carmelo Anthony's 29 points and Raymond Felton's 14 points and 10 rebounds, while the Nets won their 5th in a row in their new home over Portand 98-85. Brooklyn was led by Deron Williams with 15 points and 12 assists.
