In women's volleyball the Red Dragons over Colby-Sawyer of New Hampshire in the NCAA opener for the division three tournament. The Red Dragons who are ranked 17th nationally, won 25-19, 25-13, and 25-12.

In college football today is the 54th annual Cortaca Jug and the 50/50 raffle proceeds will be benefiting the Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief. Kickoff for this game is at Noon. Our coverage begins around 10:20 or so.

Syracuse University takes on the league leading nationally ranked #9 Louisville Cardinals today at Noon up in the dome.

The LA Lakers have fire head coach Mike Brown after the team starts the year at 1-4. They may look to hire previous coach Phil Jackson.

It's not looking good for a NHL season this year after sources are saying that talks have ended with a tense exchange.
