Ichiro Suzuki homered twice and Hiroki Kuroda three 8 string innings as the Yankees beat the Red Sox 4-1 last night and took two of three in the latest series between the two rivals. Meanwhile, former Syracuse Chief Bryce Harper homered and tripled to lead the Washington Nationals to a 5-2 win over the Mets yesterday.

The Chiefs beat Indianapolis 5-3 yesterday at Alliance Bank Stadium and those teams will meet again tonight. The Binghamton Mets toppled Richmond 5-2 and will host New Hampshire tonight. Finally the Auburn Doubledays took two from Batavia yesterday ... completing a suspended game and winning 5-4 then taking the scheduled tilt 8-7 and those teams meet again tonight in Auburn.

Willie Wood bested Michael Allen on the first playoff hole to win the PGA Champions Tour Dick's Sporting Goods open at Enjoie Golf Course.

The next Jets Preseason broadcast is this Sunday night hey host Carolina at 8pm. The pregame show begins at 7pm.

High School Football returns on Thursday August 30th when Cortland Hosts Homer.

SUNY Cortland Football returns two days later when the Red Dragons open up at Buffalo State at Noon.
