In Minor League Baseball last night, in the International League, The Chiefs got blanked by the Gwinnett Braves 6-0. They meet again tonight at 7:05.

In the NY-Penn League, the Auburn Doubledays fall to Mahoning Valley 3-2.

In Major League Baseball action, The Yankees over Cleveland 3-2, The Mets fall to Houston 3-1. The Red Sox over Kansas City 4-3. And a huge deal looks to be imminent between the Red Sox and the Dodgers. A deal would send Adrian Gonzalez, Josh Beckett, Carl Crawford, and Nick Punto to Los Angeles.

In Golf at the Barclays, Nick Watney and Sergio Garcia are both tied for the lead at -8. Tiger Woods is back at -5. Rory McIlroy is at +2.

The Syracuse Men's Basketball team is ranked number 8 in the country on ESPN's Rankings of the top basketball programs over the last 50 years. At the top of the list is North Carolina at Number 1, UCLA at 2, and Kentucky at 3.
