Local High School Results from Tuesday: In Boys Soccer Fowler beat Cortland 5-0 ... Girls Soccer: Cortland 4 Syracuse 0, CBA over Homer 4-1 and Dryden over Marathon 6-2. In Volleyball Homer 3 J-D 1 and the Homer Boys Golf Team beat Lafayette easily.

In College Soccer, SUNY Cortland lost to Medaille 3-0 in Buffalo yesterday and are now 0-3 on the season. 

Our Football Broadcast Schedule this week: High School Football at Ross Field in Groton where the Indians host Elmira Notre Dame at 7pm (6:45 Pregame), College Bonus Coverage of the Syracuse / USC game at 3:30 Saturday (Pregame at 2:30) and the Jets open their Regular Season at home vs. the Bills Sunday at 1pm (noon Pregame).

The NFL season is set to open tonight at Met Life Stadium when the Giants entertain the Dallas Cowboys.

The AP transaction wire is reporting the the Jets have released punter T.J. Conley ... no confirmation as of Wednesday morning on the Jets website.

The Auburn Doubledays beat Williamsport 9-7 and have a one-and-a-half-game lead on the Muckdogs in the Pickney Division of the NY-Penn league with one day left in the regular season. The Doubledays will be at Williamsport while the Muckdogs, who were rained out at home vs. Jamestown will play two game at Jamestown tonight to close the season.

The Yankees and Orioles are now tied in the American League East after the Yanks lost at Tampa Bay and the O's whitewashed Toronto. Those two series wrap up today and then the two teams begin a crucial four game series tomorrow night in Baltimore.

Also tonight the Mets are at St. Louis with R.A. Dickey looking for his 18th win of the season.
