Glen Campbell's Alzheimer's disease has progressed to the point that his family has moved him into a facility. A Campbell family friend told People magazine, "He was moved to an Alzhemier's facility last week. I'm not sure what the permanent plan is for him yet. We'll know more next week."
The 78-year-old singer first shared his diagnosis with the memory-robbing disease in 2011.
He said a formal farewell to fans on his 2012 Goodbye tour, which was filmed for a documentary called Glen Campbell . . . I'll Be Me. The film debuts tomorrow (Friday, April 18th) at the Nashville Film Festival.
