Steeley Dan Expands 'Jamalot Ever After' Summer Tour
Steely Dan has tagged on 12 new dates to its Jamalot Ever After tour. In addition to previously announced shows in San Diego, California and Niagara Falls, New York; new stops include Concord, California; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; Madison, Wisconsin; Interlochen, Michigan; Providence, Rhode Island -- with two-night runs set for Redmond, Washington and Red Bank and Morristown, New Jersey.

Singer-keyboardist Donald Fagen told us that the once road-shy band has found a way to play almost everything in its repertoire: "Some of the earlier things, y'know, I don’t think maybe were representative of, y'know, the style that evolved eventually. And there’s some things that, y'know, I really don’t like the lyrics, but, I think almost, y'know, with very few exceptions, you can always, y'know, at least with re-arrangement, make it interesting to play. I’ve even changed lyrics that I didn’t like."
