Phil Collins' upcoming return to music not only includes a probable new album and possible Genesis tour -- but new songs with Grammy Award-winning singer Adele. Although no new project has been formally announced, Collins told Inside South Florida that the pair have begun a new songwriting collaboration, explaining, "I've just started to work with Adele. I wasn't actually too aware. . . I live in a cave, but she's achieved an incredible amount. I really love her voice. I love some of this stuff she's done, too."
Collins went on to reveal that part of looking forward will probably involve looking at his past: "I have started thinking about doing new stuff. (Maybe playing) some shows again, even with Genesis. Everything is possible. We could tour in Australia and South America. We haven't been there yet."
Phil Collins recalled to Inside South Florida his legendary 1985 cameo as "Phil The Shill" on the beloved '80s cop drama Miami Vice: "I had a great time here. I was here for just over a week. Don Johnson and I still send Christmas cards to each other. Yeah, it was a very, very happy show to be on. It was still fun to be in. It was a very stylish show. It was the '80s."
