U2 Will Be Jimmy Fallon's First Musical Guests On The Tonight Show
U2 will be the first musical guests for Jimmy Fallon when he takes over as host of NBC's The Tonight Show next month, according to Rolling Stone. The news was revealed on Sunday night (January 19th) via Twitter by Jonathan Cohen, Fallon's music booker. Fallon's other major guest when he debuts as the successor to Jay Leno on February 17th will be actor Will Smith. The show will air at midnight, following the Winter Olympics broadcast.

U2 is rumored to be releasing its first studio album in nearly five years this coming April, with the band reportedly shooting a video recently for a possible first single called "Invisible."

Excerpts from the video and song may appear in a commercial ad during the Super Bowl on February 2nd which will announce the album's release date and title.

The new disc will be U2's 13th studio album and first since 2009's No Line On The Horizon.
