Michael Sheen & Johnny Depp Are Favorites To Land Freddie Mercury Role

Earlier this month, Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen pulled out of the Freddie Mercury biopic because of creative differences with the remaining members of Queen. Cohen, who had been attached to the project for some time, wanted a more graphic depiction of the rocker's life that would delve into his sexuality. The remaining members of Queen wanted a more family friendly project that would stay away from the controversial aspects of Mercury's life.
Well British betting firm Paddy Power has calculated the odds for some of your favorite actors to land the newly available role. So far Michael Sheen, Johnny Depp, Ewan McGregor and Hugh Jackman are the betting favorites. Surprisingly Tom Selleck and Elton John even made the list.
