Elton John continues his reign as king of the charts as his latest single, "Home Again," marks his 69th charting single on the adult contemporary charts. That is the most in the Billboard chart's 52 year history. John is followed by Barbra Streisand with 64, Neil Diamond with 58, Elvis Presley with 53 and Barry Manilow rounding out the Top Five with 50 entries.
"Home Again" which entered the chart at Number 21 is the lead single from John's 30th studio album, The Diving Board, which will be released on September 24th.
John recently told Billboard.com about the album, "Bernie Taupin and I wrote 11 songs . . . and recorded them in four days."
