Bon Jovi Gets Permission To Extend Curfew At Gillette Stadium
Fans can plan to stay later at Bon Jovi's concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts on Saturday night (July 20th). The Foxboro Board of Selectman has decided to extend the band's curfew from 11:15 to midnight.
According to My Fox Boston, Bon Jovi requested the extension after Boston-based J. Geils Band was added to the night's lineup. Town officials will reportedly be stationed at the soundboard and outside the stadium to measure the decibels and ensure that everyone is compliant with the agreement, which includes turning the sound off at 11:50.
Bon Jovi faces stiff penalties if they opt to play beyond the midnight hour. They will be fined on a sliding scale, ranging from five cents per attendee for a five-minute violation to $1.75 per attendee if they play beyond 1:00 a.m.
In other Bon Jovi news, the group's current Because We Can tour is currently ranked as the highest-grossing tour of the year, raking in $142 million over the course of 60 shows this year.
