The Eagles Add November Run To 40th Anniversary Tour
The Eagles have just added 10 new shows to their upcoming 40th anniversary tour -- including a two-night stop at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Others cities just announced for the band's new November dates include two stops in Canada -- Montreal and Toronto; Charlotte and Greensboro, North Carolina; Birmingham, Alabama; along with a trio of Florida shows hitting Tampa, Miami, and Orlando. The Eagles kick off the now 46-date trek on July 6th in Louisville, Kentucky at KFC Yum! Center. Joining the band on the road for the first time since 1975 will be co-founding guitarist Bernie Leadon.

Co-founder Glenn Frey credits the Eagles becoming close again personally as the reason why their last album, 2007's Long Road Out Of Eden, sounds like such a cohesive unit, and why their current live show ranks among the band's tightest of their entire career: "The camaraderie of the band returned in earnest. Y'know we worked real hard and we re-did our show. It was fun to go to soundcheck. It was fun playing. It was fun on the plane. Y'know we had the opportunity to go out to dinner together and do some other things, y'know other than just show up to work and play shows. So I think with that in place, we were able to say, 'Let's try to make a record now, OK?'"
