Aerosmith will be among the headliners at the May 30th Boston Strong: An Evening Of Support And Celebration concert at Boston's TD Garden arena. Among the other heavyweights set to appear at the show will be James Taylor, Carole King, the J. Geils Band, Jimmy Buffett, New Kids On The Block, Godsmack, and comedian Steven Wright, among others. The net proceeds from the concert's ticket sales will benefit The One Fund Boston, set up by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino to help the people most affected by the tragic bombing that occurred in Boston on April 15th.
Tickets for the Boston Strong event go on sale today (Monday, May 6th) at 10:00 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster, with prices running from $35 to $285. All tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster's paperless ticket delivery to ensure that net proceeds go to The One Fund Boston.
Aerosmith has canceled its May 11th concert in Jakarta, Indonesia following reports of a bomb threat to the Myanmar Embassy. The Associated Press reported that the band scrapped the show after the arrest of two alleged militants who were planning the attack in protest of Indonesia's treatment of Muslims.

'Cause what it's about for me is being behind my drums, seeing those four guys in front of me, and playing for two hours. That's it -- that's what I live for."
