Paul McCartney & The Rolling Stones Rehearsing Next To Each Other
Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones are rehearsing next to each other in London, according to MaccaReport.com. Two members of McCartney's band tweetted about the situation with Guitarist/bassist Brian Ray posting: "An insane few days of rehearsal with the pleasant distraction of the Rolling Stones rehearsing next door to us. Listening to the Rolling Stones rehearse next door, with the urgency of a local rock band looking to break out was fairly inspiring."
Longtime keyboardist "Wix" Wickens added: "Good rehearsal day. The Stones are rehearsing next door so went to visit my lovely friend Chuck Leavell. Surreal with Charlie (Watts), Ronnie (Wood) etc."
12 years after his initial sessions with McCartney, lead guitarist Rusty Anderson says he's still pinching himself over his outstanding luck at landing such a coveted gig: "Everything's just evolved a lot over the last, I don't know, how long have I been playing with Paul? It's certainly a huge part of my life and playing these gigantic concerts and everything is a big perspective. Just, I really enjoy making music and I feel very blessed being able to do it with great people like Paul."
