The Who have teamed up with the music-based clothing company Lyric Culture for an exclusive men's collection of apparel for Bloomingdale's, which will debut in stores on April 15th. The Who Collection features graphic screen print tees and hoodies sold in custom designed Lyric Culture "shops" at Bloomingdale's stores across the U.S. -- including such notable outlets as 59th Street, Aventura, Bergen County, Beverly Center, Fashion Valley, Lenox Square, North Michigan Avenue, Roosevelt Field, Santa Monica, San Francisco Centre, and Soho with a retail price range of $48 to $98.
The various designs feature iconic album imagery as well as lyrics to some of the band's greatest hits including "Won't Get Fooled Again," "Who Are You," "Baba O' Riley," "My Generation," "Pinball Wizard," "Behind Blue Eyes," "Long Live Rock," and many more.
The collection was made possible through a partnership with Spirit Music Group, the publisher of Pete Townshend's lyrics.
The Who just wrapped its 2013 North American dates for the band's Quadrophenia & More Tour. Roger Daltrey told us that he feels that the touring version of the Who are still on top of their game: "I think the band's playing better than ever. The energy -- We may be older in ourselves and maybe individually, or even collectively, not actually have as much energy, but the music generates as much energy, if not more, than it did in the '60s and '70s."
The Who kicks off its 14-date European tour on June 8th in Dublin, Ireland.
