Report: The Rolling Stones To Play Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Bash
Will one of the Rolling Stones' 18 North American dates be the Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary event in Milwaukee over Labor Day weekend? According to BizJournals.com, a Harley-Davidson spokesman was pressed for a confirmation only to reveal that "entertainment announcements" would be coming "in the coming weeks" for the celebration set to run from August 29th to 31st. Kid Rock is confirmed to play the Summerfest Grounds Henry Maier Festival Park, but so far no other headliners have been confirmed.
Keith Richards told us that when the Rolling Stones come together to rehearse, they actually create a separate palpable energy: "There's always that feeling, y'know, when you've got the band in one room; there's Mick (Jagger), I'm here, y'know, there's Ron (Wood), and there's Charlie. Okay, where's the, y'know, and you realize that really is it. You're always looking at the magic ingredient and you realize it's there between yourselves. It's already in the room. He doesn't have a name, we don't pay 'im nuttin'! (laughs)"
