Quick Takes On Bruce Springsteen, Ron Wood, Bryan Adams And Paul Anka
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will headline June 30th Hard Rock Calling festival in London. Fans were betting against "The Boss" returning to the stage after last year's faux pas in which organizers cut short Springsteen's dream come true jam with Paul McCartney due to a curfew infraction. This year's show marks the festival's first in its new home in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. (Ultimate Classic Rock)
Ron Wood is once again dropping hints about the Rolling Stones playing England's Glastonbury Festival this summer. Wood said, "Wouldn't it be nice. We've got a meeting next month and that's going to be my first question to them. It's something I've always been interested in. I'm going to twist their arms. . . I've got lots of high hopes this year, now that we're all rehearsed -- let's get it cracking this summer!" (Vintage Vinyl News)
